As you are no doubt aware, the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID – 19) is having a major impact in several parts of the world. The absolute priority of the Crash Box and Classic Car Club committee is to help to protect the health and safety of all our Club members, event organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, and visitors to the Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle grounds this July, and of course at all other Club events

With this in mind, we may possibly have to cancel, or introduce restrictions at, the Historic Vehicle Gathering, and other CBCCC events. This may be due to legislation or advice from the government or local authority.  The owners of Powderham Castle also have the right to cancel the event. We would like to reassure you that we will not take the decision to cancel unless we feel there is absolutely no alternative.

In addition, the Club has already incurred very significant expense which we will not be able to reclaim. As a result, we are sorry but we are also unable to offer any refunds. The Club is not currently able to provide cancellation insurance facilities for members, or for other visitors to the site. However, you may wish to look into purchasing your own cancellation insurance. Please note that if you wish to delay your decision to apply to enter the show, applications to enter the show may be purchased (if still available) up until 6th June 2020.

As things may change as a result of a situation beyond our control – and unprecedented in the forty seven years the show has been running –   we will be keeping the situation under review and will make further announcements in due course.
