May I congratulate you and your colleagues for looking after us all that camped at Powderham. We had such an enjoyable time. The layout and facility's were perfect . Our group has grown in the last few years , this time we had nine tents , seven cars a van plus our motor home and five children plus all the adults. We all agree the event gets better and better every year , everyone wants to come again next year. Every one I spoke to was complimentary about the Crash Box Club and the helpfulness that you all displayed.

We had one of if not the largest car club stands with 30 cars and we would love to come back again next year, all being well. This message is mainly to offer our thanks to the CBCCC for another brilliant weekend. A good number of our members supported the Gathering on both days with their usual wide range of vehicles. The consensus was that they had a fabulous time, with plenty to see and do.

The showers and toilets were very good, clean and adequately maintained throughout our stay. The event was, as usual, fantastic, even bigger than previous years perhaps? The Saturday evening band Forever Free were excellent.

All of the staff and volunteers who participated on our stand thoroughly enjoyed not only doing so, but also being part of the wider event which is an extraordinary demonstration of what well-organised and single-minded people can achieve. It really is, as you hardly need me to remind you, an absolutely top show of its kind (and I speak from a position of attending a lot of shows each year through my own vintage tractor interests). What is most remarkable to me is that an event of such complexity can work so well when it is wholly done by a group of volunteers, all pulling together in such a positive way. And, as I have said more than once, what comes over to someone there for the first time is such an apparently relaxed overall atmosphere that makes it seem more like a family occasion than the major event that it is.

Both I and all our volunteers were incredibly impressed with the scale of your show and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to spend a little ‘down time’ enjoying the marvellous displays of vehicles and the other stands on offer.
